How do I activate the DApp browser on Trust Wallet?

The DApp browser on Trust Wallet allows you to use decentralised finance applications (Challenge for Decentralised Finance in English).
If you are on a phone AndroidYou can easily activate the DApp browser in your Trust Wallet application.
After downloading the application, click on the "Settings" icon at the bottom of the navigation bar.
It is not necessary to manually activate your DApp browser via a web browser.
You can do this directly in the application:
Trust Wallet > Settings > Preferences > DApp Browser > Enable

Enable DApp browser on iOS/Apple with WalletConnect (new method 2022)
WalletConnect now supports connection to Trust Wallet.
This allows you to activate the DApp browser that supports WalletConnect without the need for additional support.
All you need is your Trust Wallet application and a web browser.
And Trust Wallet supports multiple sessions for WalletConnect. As soon as your phone is connected, the session remains active.
Here is the step-by-step guide to enable the Dapp browser on iOS.
1. Connect your wallet
The first step is to connect via your browser (Safari) to one of these 2 services.
On iOS / Apple / Safari, Uniswap or PancakeSwap are accessible on these urls :
- Uniswap: https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap
- PancakeSwap: https://pancakeswap.finance/swap
Click directly or enter one of these 2 urls in your browser (Safari) and validate.

Then move on to the next step.
2. Click on " Connecting the Portfolio "and choose " WalletConnect"
The second step is to select your WalletConnect wallet.
Click on "Connect a portfolio". in the top navigation bar:

After having clicked on "Connect a portfolio".A "Connect a portfolio" window opens.
Important: instead of clicking on "Trust Wallet", click on "WalletConnect".
If you click on "Trust Wallet" you will get an error message.
Go to step 3.
3. Choose your preferred mobile wallet " Trust "Click on " Open"
After clicking on "WalletConnect", a new window opens.
On this window you will see a list of cryptocurrency wallets to which you can connect with the instruction "Connect to mobile wallet".
Click on "Trust". to connect your Trust Wallet account.
Then move on to the next step.
4. TrustWallet is launched automatically and click on " Connect"
TrustWallet launches and asks if you accept or cancel the connection.
Click on "Connect". to validate your connection to TrustWallet.
Normally your TrustWallet is connected to Uniswap (or PancakeSwap depending on your choice).
Check your connection by checking the top right corner of Uniswap (or PancakeSwap).
You see your TrustWallet address.
If there is a problem, repeat the method in step 1.
Congratulations! You have successfully connected your TrustWallet to Uniswap (or PancakeSwap) without having to activate your DApp browser on Iphone / iOS.

! NB: this method does not work anymore since June 2021!
Prior to June 2021 and the removal of the DApp browser from the Apple App Store, it was possible to manually activate the DApp browser on Apple / iOS phones with the following method:
1. Open a web browser
The first step is to open your favourite internet browser (Safari, Chrome, Brave...).
Ideally use the Safari browser which is the native browser on Iphone / iOS.
So open Safari on your Iphone.
Next step: copy/paste a URL into your browser.
2. Copy / paste trust://browser_enable in the URL field
The second step is to copy/paste or enter this URL in the top search bar:
trust://browser_enable
Then validate by clicking on "Go".
A pop-up window will open asking if you want to open this URL.
Click on "Open". to open your page on TrustWallet.
3. Choose the DApp you wish to
Third and final step: browse and choose the DApp you want.
After having click on "Open".Trust Wallet is open.
And normally the DApp browser is enabled in your application.
You will see the "Browser" icon in the bottom bar of your phone.
If you do not see the "Browser" icon, then your DApp browser is not activated.
Then repeat step 2 with the command " trust://browser_enable" .
To open the DApp browser, click on "Browser". in the bottom bar.
Your DApp browser presents you with multiple decentralised applications.
And choose the application you want to use.
For example, if you want to use Uniswap (or PancakeSwap), look for it in the list and then click on 'Uniswap' (or 'PancakeSwap'). These are the most popular decentralised applications of the moment.
