Step one: check that the failure or bug is not caused by WhatsApp itself.

2. Check the quality of your internet connection (Wifi or 4G)

Another solution to test: uninstall and reinstall the WhatsApp application on your phone.

The method works on iPhone (iOS) and Android Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Realme...

• On iPhoneTo uninstall WhatsApp: press and hold the WhatsApp application icon > Uninstall.
• On AndroidTo uninstall WhatsApp: press and hold the WhatsApp icon > Uninstall.

Once the WhatsApp application is uninstalled, your phone is cleaned of all WhatsApp data such as cache.

Then install the WhatsApp application again:
